Building Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on Built Environment entrepreneurs and start-ups. Working with a developer, I designed a new website for them, featuring a newly defined web style guide and a sleek homepage animation.
At the start, Building Ventures had minimal brand guidelines aside from some color choices and a logo, so I pitched three different style tile options to help guide the visual direction of the website.
The web design came together intially through wireframes. Once we settled on our final layouts, I turned them into high fidelity mockups to deliver to the developer.
As part of the project, the client requested a detailed animation of their logo, literally being "built", to use as the hero image on the homepage. I illustrated and animated this visual in After Effects.
