Erosia is a virtual instrument created around the concept of generating sounds through friction. For this project, we collaborated with Jeremiah Savage of Cymatic Form, who developed the concept, sounds, and engine. My role oversaw the user experience, user interface design, and art direction for the product.

The initial phase of the project focused on developing wireframes to transform our partner's instrument into a more user-friendly design. This included designing the transform tool on the main page, as well as refining the layout for effects, modulation, and more.
Following the wireframing phase, I worked on the visual design of the UI, selecting textures and colors that reflected the sounds of Erosia. I used Figma to prototype the product, collaborating closely with our developer to ensure every interaction was implemented seamlessly.
I also led the art direction for this project. The concept was inspired by friction, incorporating materials and textures central to Erosia's spirit. As users interact with the transform control, they see metallic layers twisting and contorting against each other. I created an initial 3D mockup, which our in-house 3D designer then refined to produce the final animation.
